SECRETARY/ADMIN SUPPORT BAND 3
LOCATION - HAWKESBURY LODGE REHAB UNIT COVENTRY
30 hrs per week
Working pattern 9am-3pm Monday to Friday.
Hawkesbury Lodge is a Mental Health Rehab Ward based in Coventry providing residential rehab services. The post holder will therefore play an important role in providing efficient and comprehensive secretarial/admin support to the ward manager, clinical and medical staff in order to meet the demands of the service.
You must possess a high standard of accuracy using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook calendar functions as well as having a good standard of education (please refer to Job Description and Person Specification).
This is a very varied role and you must therefore have good secretarial experience with a broad knowledge of professional office procedures. Tasks will include arranging and taking minutes at meetings, co-ordinating referrals into the service, typing correspondence, maintaining spreadsheets, data inputting and undertaking all ordering for the unit as well as supporting clinical colleagues with basic IT system queries. You will be the first point of contact and undertake all reception duties on this locked unit which will involve face-to-face contact with service users on a frequent daily basis.
We are looking for a pro-active and resilient candidate who is confident when dealing with situations that at times can be challenging and stressful. You must be able to build effective working relationships, show initiative, be adaptable, approachable and accessible with a flexible approach to work.
You will support the standardisation of admin support across the Trust to improve the efficiency and effectiveness received by clinical services. We are looking for individuals with a positive approach to change who are supportive of service improvements.
