Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 1,2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the living wage of £12 per hour - £23,465 per annum. This temporary top up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2024/25 is confirmed
Job overview
The post will involve supporting people who have long term health conditions through maximising the opportunities provided by technology. This will include the use of video conferencing, text-based apps, e-learning packages, podcasts, and webinars.
The post holder will encourage and convince patients to embrace technology to foster a culture of independence and reducing the need for medical intervention.
Using straight forward language, the post holder will train patients and other health professionals to use technology to access a range of resources.
Main duties of the job

As a team we believe in using all the resources we have available to us to help us help people to live the lives they want. We use digital resources to improve access to our services and reduce the need for people and health care staff to travel.
Using the best evidence available, we design and continuously improve services in collaboration with the people who will be using them.
You will bring:
- A willingness to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
- An ability to provide training to other members of the team
- Enthusiasm for providing digital support and addressing digital inclusion in our community
- Excellent digital skills including an ability to use the full range of Microsoft 365 tools
- Excellent understanding of e-learning and experience of creating e-learning resources

- Degree in a relevant subject or evidence of significant experience equivalent to formal qualification
