Job overview

We are pleased to announce a fantastic secondment opportunity for an experienced clinician to join EMAS' Education Team at our EMAS Clifton Education Centre, Clifton Campus, Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham for 30 hours per week for 12 months.

The role of Clinical Educator is an important role within EMAS Education and contributes to the delivery of taught programmes, as well as supporting divisional practice development and annual educational updates.

This is a particularly exciting time in education and EMAS have a range of students/learners accessing the Paramedic Apprenticeship and First Response Emergency Care (FREC) pathway (Technician) . We are also providing learning & development related to the clinical induction programme for which we are currently reviewing the curriculum. You will need to be confident to teach and assess across the range of educational provision. The successful applicant will be supported by a designated Senior Clinical Educator.

It is extremely important that as a Clinical Educator, you work closely with the operational divisions, and you will be required to support divisions with educational development and practice development as part of this role. You must therefore be able to practice clinically and provide an operational response in accordance with your clinical registration.

Main duties of the job
