We are currently looking for a hard working and highly motivated Medicine Management Supervisor to join the Medicines Management team at East of England Ambulance Trust. We have one full-time vacancies for an ongoing basis with no weekend work required.
We are recruiting for a Medicine Management Supervisor Worker who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
Applicants must be keen to learn, hardworking and able to work under pressure.
A flexible approach to the above duties is required, together with good communication and interpersonal skills, initiative and the ability to work as part of a team.

The role is an integral part of the Service Delivery structure supporting the staff in front line, patient facing roles, in the delivery of a safe, appropriate and clinically excellent service.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of sustainable operational and clinical performance.
The role will have a number of direct reports and a key component of the role will be to manage a Team of Medicines Management Assistants.
The post holder will be required to work as an active member of the Medicines Management Team to ensure delivery of a legal, safe, secure, high quality specialist Ambulance Pharmacy Service.

You will be joining an award winning team who recently won the Trust award for teamwork. Within the Medicines Management Team we have a Trust Pharmacist and a Medicines Management Lead along with a team of Medicines Management Assistants, all working to provide stations across the East of England with safe and secure medication. You will be joining a friendly team with a positive approach to working.

- The post holder will also provide support and guidance for other staff employed within the MMT.
- Supervise and assist the MMAs in delivering the Medicines Pouch System across the Trust.
- The post holder will be required to work unsupervised and will manage the day-to-day delivery of the medication process.
- Contribute to the development of, and support implementation of, Medicines Management Strategy and associated services and projects.
