We're excited to offer motivated and experienced professionals a unique opportunity to be part of an ongoing pilot in a substantive Band 7 Specialist Practitioner position, located within Norfolk County Council.
This role is an exciting initiative to work within an established partnership alongside Children's social Care colleagues to assess, review, triage, signpost and deliver short term interventions for adults with parental responsibilities. The aim of the role within the collaborative is to achieve the best outcomes for adults who have parental and carer responsibility, for children who are receiving support from Children’s Social Care, and ultimately positively impact the recovery outcomes for the child.
This role will also provide management oversight to a small team of practitioners that will include supervisory responsibilities and joint working with the adult services team manager.
Referrals will come solely from Social Care workers. Assessments and interventions will predominantly take place in family’s homes independently and alongside social care case workers ultimately ensuring parents and carers of children receive the right mental health support at the right time to enable them to care for their children.
