Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMW) is delighted to have joined forces with Manchester Mental Health and Social Care NHS Trust (MMHSCT) as from 1st January 2017. The new integrated organisation will provide inpatient and community-based mental healthcare to people living in Bolton, Salford, Trafford and the city of Manchester, with specialist services covering Greater Manchester and beyond. The post holder will provide medical leadership to and work as a member of the Central Trafford CMHT.
This is a community based post, and the post-holder will be expected to see patients in outpatient clinic, review patients at home, participate in discussions and meetings with other members of the clinical team, supervise junior doctors, attend Mental Health Review Tribunals, Managers’ Hearings and participate in Mental Health Act assessments.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
