Gastroenterology outpatients are offered at Oldham, Rochdale and Fairfield sites. There is an active GI physiology department. The Gastroenterology department has an established track record of supporting and delivering nationally and internationally renowned research.

The post holder will complement and develop existing services through the provision of specialist knowledge & expertise in Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine.  The post holder is therefore required to have full registration with the General Medical Council & a valid licence to practise.  Ideally be on the specialist register (Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine) or be within 6 months of CCT or equivalent at the time of interview.
