An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual looking for a future in coordination, communications and events.
The postholder will support the work of NICE’s busy communication directorate. This includes the provision of personal administrative services for the communications director and operational support for the wider directorate, including administrative support for meetings, committees, and key cross-directorate projects.
In particular, the postholder will work closely with the strategic communications team to support the effective delivery of communication activities including both virtual and in-person events.
Interviews are proposed to be held at the end of May.

The key duties for this role are:
• Service delivery and support with planning and delivery of events
• Line management and deputising for the communications business support manager as required.
• Administration of training and developing sessions/workshops
• Provide a professional and positive first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and visitors
We are looking for someone who has proven experience of working as a coordinator or equivalent in an administrative role, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and thorough attention to detail. Someone that can effectively work with people at all levels both inside and outside of NICE, who has a flexible attitude to the working environment and ability to work as part of a team.

The Communications Directorate is made up of several teams: external communications, which includes media relations and enquiry handling; content and channels, which includes website, internal communications, graphic design, content creation and social media; and strategic communications and marketing, which includes corporate events, marketing, public affairs, audience insights, strategic communications, and communications business support.
Together we use a variety of channels to communicate with a wide range of audiences in the health and social care system and beyond.
Our communications teams also help to protect and enhance the reputation of NICE through daily contact with the public, media, parliamentarians and other key groups.
