An interesting opportunity has arisen for a specialist audiologist to join the audiology team at St George's NHS Hospital. The post holder will be expected to deliver a variety of clinics with a special interest in a particular area such as adult audiology, paediatric audiology, hearing therapy or vestibular. A suitable level of experience or training is expected in the area of interest but support for further development in this area will also be provided.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to deliver services at St George’s Hospital and nearby satellite clinics. You will also be expected to participate in research, service reviews and departmental audits in addition to contributing to the development of the audiology service.

Experience
Essential criteria
- Clinical Audiology (at least 18 months’ practice)
- Clinical Audit
- Worked within national protocols such as BSA, NHSP, BAA
Desirable criteria
- Hearing therapy practice
- Paediatric audiology practice beyond ENT test support
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- BSc Audiology or equivalent
- State registration with HPC / RCCP
Desirable criteria
- MSc in Auditory Rehabilitation or equivalent
- Certificate / Diploma in Hearing Therapy
- Course(s) in hearing therapy-related subjects
