Clinical Fellow ST1- 3 in Neonatal PaediatricS

The Homerton is an innovative and friendly Foundation Trust providing a wide range of services to the local community of Hackney and specialist services on a national level. Located in the multicultural east end of London, we are situated close to the heart of the capital, whilst being within easy reach of the M11 and M25. The Hospital has a modern Medical Education Centre and an active Postgraduate Teaching Programme and a well-stocked library. Good facilities for study and training are available.

You are invited to apply for a 6 month Clinical Fellow ST1-3 Neonatology post from ASAP in the first instance with a view to extension. Our neonatal posts are based in a tertiary level III neonatal unit with 46 cots and an active research and training programme. Homerton is one of the 3 perinatal centres in the North East and North Central London perinatal network. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit comprises of 46 cots: 16 Intensive Care, 8 High Dependency cots as well as 22 special care. The Homerton Maternity Unit has nearly 6000 deliveries a year with a high risk Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine unit. These posts provide excellent training in Neonatal Intensive Care and are ideally suited for doctors training to be Paediatricians.

The posts are banded at 1A and post holders will participate in a full shift system with 15 other ST1 - 3 trainees and/or ANNPs.
