Clinical Fellows in Vascular Anaesthesia (SpR Grade)


The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking to appoint new Clinical Fellows within the Anaesthesia and Intensive Care medical team. These new posts will cover mainly anaesthesia for vascular surgery at the Glenfield Site but may also include cardiothoracic surgery at Glenfield and other surgical specialities at other UHL sites. The post includes on call participation in a resident out of hours rota covering Vascular Anaesthesia and Intensive Care.

If appointed, you will have the opportunity to agree other areas of further experience within the CMG in order to support your future career aspirations.

As such, these posts are also designed to also offer opportunities to undertake other specialist training modules.

The posts are whole time based upon a rolling resident on-call rota of 1 in 7. The posts are available immediately and offered on a fixed 12 month contract.

As this post is regulated by the Protection of Children Act 1999, The Criminal Justice Courts Act 2000 and / or the Care Standards Act 2000 an enhanced police criminal records disclosure will be requested by the Trust in the event of a successful application.
