Job overview

You are responsible for co-ordinating and monitoring significant workforce activity, such as ER and recruitment; play a leading role in business and workforce planning; take personal and shared responsibility and accountability for the delivery of key workforce, financial and service objectives; support Trust health, wellbeing and engagement initiatives; and lead front-line level change management and development programmes

You will support the design, production and implementation of the Trust’s workforce strategy to deliver on the Trust’s service, financial, workforce, quality and capital objectives, which will enable us to deliver all aspects of the NHS People Promise and our People Strategy.

You will manage your own caseload of employee relations activity as well as providing support and expertise to other members of the care group and corporate people and culture teams

Main duties of the job

The People & Culture Business Partner provides a comprehensive professional and high quality People service to their nominated Care Group.  You will support the Specialty management teams and in developing the people and workforce capacity and capability to design and deliver Trust plans, whilst promoting the health and wellbeing of our teams and ensuring that Trust values are lived. 

You will take a leading role in both the relevant Care Group and specialty leadership teams and the wider People team providing central services and supporting other Care Groups and Corporate Services’ Departments.

  • Demonstrable senior HR management experience at operational / business partner level in a large organisation.
