Working for our organisation

The Trust has three Clinical Divisions, each managed by a Divisional Director (Senior Clinician). This role is supported by a full time Operational Service Manager and a full time management accountant. The approach, in line with Department of Health guidance, devolves as much day to day operational management to the Divisional Management Boards as possible. Each Divisional Director is a member of the Trust Executive Board, chaired by the Chief Executive.

Divisional Structure:

The Gastroenterology business unit is part of specialty medicine and includes endoscopy and Sterile Services and it sits within the Medicine Division.

Divisional Clinical Director:            Mr Kevin Harris

Clinical Director:                                    Dr Tahir Akbar

Clinical Lead (Gastroenterology): Dr Frank Murphy
