We are looking for a Patient Environment Assistant to join our team here at Furness General Hospital.
We are looking to recruit an Assistant to join our day time Team working 18hrs a week. this will include weekend working .You should be hard working, punctual and able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team. The aim of the role is to support the clinical teams in maintaining the optimum environment for our patients. The main duties are to support patient movement, removal and disposal of waste, handling of medical gases and collection.
Cleaning will also be a requirement for this role.
A Full Manual Driving Licence is required for this role .
Previous experience would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment
