Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, part-time Receptionist to join our busy hospital for 25 hours per week. You will be required to cover main Reception and Outpatient Reception, as required.
Main duties of the job
- Work as part of a team providing a reception service across both Main Reception and Outpatient Reception including being the initial point of contact.
- Answering telephone calls and redirecting as appropriate
- Book in patients for their appointments.
- Meet and greet in an open and welcoming manner.
- Work to a shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays.
- Prioritise workload on a daily basis
- Use various computer systems including Microsoft Office and Medway
