Main duties of the job

Your role will involve liaising with the Learning Disability multidisciplinary team as a clinical specialist nurse in order to provide effective care for enteral feeding patients. The learning disability Nutrition Nurse Team liaises closely with acute units, enteral feeding companies, colleges, day centres, respite units, community hospitals and nursing homes in relation to home enteral feeding discharges, assessment for initiation of enteral feeding, direct patient care and staff training.
